Well we enjoyed Sochi anyway. Tough to remember you were back in the USSR. Could have been a sunny seaside city anywhere

We finally saw a pick up football game but couldn’t figure out how to get down to join in. At least that was our excuse. They looked awful young and fit from up here!

The local dress caught the eye. But we’re not sure if they are cossacks. Lots of political pitfalls in this part of the world. I got more than I bargained for when I innocently said to one Russian fan that Crimea was in Ukraine. So we’ll just leave this pic here and say n’more

The F1 track was a safer bet for discussion. Even if the darn’d kid wouldn’t let me take a turn in the grass car

We were too busy with football and sleeping to dip a toe in the beautiful Black Sea. Beaches were too stony anyway. Maybe next time I’ll bring my yacht to park alongside Abromovic’s! 😀
