A bus full of Germans

So what to do? Of course, it\’s Germany Ghana so there are lots of Germans about. But didn\’t think it through when we booked the bus to the stadium. It appears we\’re now in the German supporter section. Which, if I was a totally committed USA fan would be fine – a German win today puts Ghana out of the qualification equation. But – dammit – I can\’t support Germany: can I? The original plan was to join the Ghanaian section which surely would be more fun. I mean: where would we be if we didn\’t have a sensor of humor? Well, Germany of course! But sadly there are no Ghanaian\’s to be seen. So I guess we\’ll just be swept along on a tide of German national pride: and to be honest when you\’re sitting with a guy in lehderhosen with a beer mug draped around his neck, and a cute fräulein in full Heidi like costume they\’re not too bad. Just don\’t mention ze vor.
