There was a moment there where I thought the all female battalion of security police were coming for me! But no. They went straight past – one or two of them with a little smirk noticing my attention.
Apart from the “Fisherman’s Friend incident”, where I was pulled aside to explain the little white tablets, security has been fantastic. Entry searches are efficient, always polite, never intrusive. And they are dealing with very large numbers of, at times rowdy, football fans. Very well done.
I just wish their uniforms didn’t make them look like NASCAR pit crew
